About us

A community-led charity for Hazara families, culture and belonging.

Hazara Community West Midlands supports people of Hazara heritage across the West Midlands and the wider United Kingdom. We create spaces where families can connect, celebrate culture, access guidance and build a shared sense of belonging.

We bring people together through culture, education and practical support.

Our work creates opportunities for people to share experiences, develop skills and support one another. We promote equality, diversity and social inclusion while helping the wider public understand Hazara history, identity and contribution.

We also respond to isolation and hardship by offering culturally appropriate signposting, peer support and community guidance, so no one has to feel alone.

Mission

Connection and confidence

To build a strong, inclusive and connected Hazara community by creating opportunities to gather, learn, celebrate and support each other.

Values

Respect and inclusion

We welcome people across backgrounds and generations, celebrate diversity within the community and work collaboratively with respect and care.

Partnerships

Working with others

We work with local organisations, schools, community groups and public bodies to support personal development and contribute positively to wider society.
